Low-dose digital X-rays and exam
We check every tooth, your gums, bite and jaw, and do an oral cancer screening. You'll see the pictures on screen as we go.

Most new patients get their cleaning the same day. If your gums need extra care, we'll explain why and book a follow-up.

I'm nervous about the dentist. Can you help?
Yes, and you're far from alone. We take a gentle, no-judgment approach: no lectures about how long it's been. We explain each step before we do it, agree on a "stop" signal, and take breaks whenever you want.
Comfort options include noise-cancelling headphones, a weighted blanket, and sedation: laughing gas (nitrous oxide) or a calming pill taken before your visit. Mention it when you book and we'll plan extra time.
Do you take my insurance?
We're in network with Delta Dental PPO, Cigna Dental PPO, MetLife PDP Plus, Aetna Dental PPO and Guardian DentalGuard, and we can bill most other PPO plans as out-of-network. Choose your plan when you book and we'll check your benefits before you arrive.
What will my first visit cost?
With most PPO plans, a new patient exam, X-rays and cleaning are covered at or near 100%. Without insurance it's $145 for the exam and X-rays, plus $115 if we clean the same day. Or join our $299/year savings plan, which covers both.
What counts as a dental emergency?
Bad tooth pain, swelling in your face or gums, a broken or knocked-out tooth, or a lost crown. Call us and we'll see you the same day whenever we're open. If a tooth is knocked out, keep it in milk and come in right away. After hours, our phone line reaches the on-call dentist.
How old should my child be for their first visit?
By their first birthday, or when the first tooth appears. Early visits are short and mostly about getting comfortable. You can stay with your child the whole time.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Of course. Reschedule or cancel for free up to 24 hours ahead by phone or from the link in your confirmation text. Things come up; we just ask for a heads-up so we can offer the time to someone in pain.
